Recap: Boise State vs. Air Force

Boise, ID (SportsNetwork.com) - Ryan Watkins and Anthony Drmic both poured in 16 points for the Boise State Broncos, as they bested the Air Force Falcons, 69-58, in Mountain West Conference action at Taco Bell Arena.

Watkins also hauled in 13 rebounds for Boise State (15-6, 5-3 MWC), which has won four of five. Jeff Elorriaga and Thomas Bropleh scored 13 points apiece for the hosts.

For Air Force (9-10, 3-5), Max Yon led the way with 15 points and he was joined in double figures by Marek Olesinski (14), Justin Hammonds (12) and Kamryn Williams (11).

Boise State shot 50 percent from the field in the first half, while Air Force wasn't far behind at 48 percent, but the Broncos took a 39-31 lead into the break by draining 5-of-11 from beyond the arc and 8-of-10 from the free-throw line in the opening 20 minutes.

The Broncos' field goal efficiency dipped to just 39.1 percent after halftime, but they began the second stanza on a 10-3 run to open up a 15-point lead, and they led by double digits for the rest of the contest.

Boise State shot a stellar 18-of-22 from the foul line in the victory, while Air Force struggled at just 13-of-23.
