Recap: Nevada vs. Boise State

Reno, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - Derrick Marks scored a game-high 21 points as the Boise State Broncos defeated the Nevada Wolf Pack 74-65 in a Mountain West Conference battle at Lawlor Events Center.

Anthony Drmic added 17 points for Boise State (12-5, 2-2 MWC), which had lost three of its previous four. Ryan Watkins posted a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds and Nick Duncan contributed 10 points.

Jerry Evans Jr. paced Nevada (9-9, 4-1) with 17 points. Michael Perez chipped in 16 points and Cole Huff tallied 12 points and nine rebounds. The Wolf Pack had a four-game winning streak snapped in the loss.

The Broncos shot 44 percent from the floor and held the Wolf Pack to only six field goals in the opening period, claiming a 30-23 lead at the break.

In the second half Boise State shot at a 42.9 percent clip, including a 5- of-10 showing from beyond the arc, to hold off Nevada.

The Broncos had a 41-31 advantage in rebounds. The Wolf Pack outscored the Broncos 14-8 off of turnovers.
