Recap: Fresno State vs. Colorado State

Fresno, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Tyler Johnson scored 18 points to lead five players in double figures for the Fresno State Bulldogs as they claimed a 75-66 victory over the Colorado State Rams in a Mountain West Conference tilt at Save Mart Center.

Marvelle Harris netted 16 points for Fresno State (13-13, 6-7 MWC), which has won five straight. Alex Davis tallied 14 points and Cezar Guerrero and Allen Huddleston tacked on 11.

Daniel Bejarano notched 24 point and Jon Octeus registered 14 points and nine rebounds for Colorado State (14-12, 5-8), which has lost consecutive games.

Fresno State got off to a fast start, shooting 53.8 percent from the floor in the first half to take a 38-25 lead at the break. Colorado State had only nine field goals in the frame.

In the second half the Rams improved to 43.3 percent shooting, but it wasn't enough to catch the Bulldogs, who hit on 48 percent from the floor in the final 20 minutes.

Fresno State outscored Colorado, 20-10, off of turnovers.
