Recap: Fresno State vs. Cal Poly

Fresno, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Allen Huddleston scored 14 points, leading five players in double figures, as the Fresno State Bulldogs posted a 63-46 win over the Cal Poly Mustangs in a non-conference battle at the Save Mart Center.

Marvelle Harris produced 12 points for the Bulldogs (3-1), followed by Cezar Guerrero with 11 and both Alex Davis and Paul Watson with 10 points apiece in the team's second straight victory.

The Mustangs (0-3) were led by Chris Eversley with 14 points and seven boards, while Dave Nwaba tacked on 11 points in the losing cause.

Cal Poly shot a mere 8-of-27 from the floor in the first half, including 2- of-9 behind the 3-point line, as the team fell behind at intermission, 31-19.

In the second half the Mustangs missed all eight chances on the perimeter and knocked down only nine total field goals as they remained winless on the campaign.

Fresno State won the battle of the boards, 45-28, and prevented any of the Cal Poly reserves from scoring even a single point.
