Recap: Nevada vs. Morehead State

Reno, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - Angelo Warner scored 15 points and Chad Posthumus tallied a double-double as the Morehead State Eagles took down the Nevada Wolf Pack, 63-58, as part of the Las Vegas Invitational at Lawlor Events Center.

Posthumus finished with 10 points and 16 rebounds and Drew Kelly added 13 points for Morehead State (5-2).

Deonte Burton scored a game-high 19 points for Nevada (3-3), which also got 11 points and seven rebounds from Jerry Evans Jr.

After both teams struggled in the first half, Nevada led 27-25, by shooting at a 34.6 percent clip, which was slightly better than the 32 percent rate from the Eagles.

Morehead State improved to 48.1 percent shooting from the field over the final 20 minutes to overcome the Wolf Pack, who had just eight total field goals in the period.

The Eagles had a 39-33 edge on the boards and a 16-9 advantage in second chance points.
