Recap: Alabama A&M vs. Prairie View

Huntsville, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Justan Banks scored 17 points and collected eight rebounds as the Prairie View A&M Panthers registered a 67-55 win over the Alabama A&M Bulldogs in Southwestern Athletic Conference action at Elmore Gym.

Green Hill added 11 points and Jeremy Crutcher finished with 10 for Alabama A&M (8-11, 5-4 SWAC), which has won consecutive games following a three-game losing streak.

Demondre Chapman tallied 17 points and John Brisco put in 16 for Prairie View A&M (6-15, 4-5), which has lost three straight.

Alabama A&M led 27-21 at halftime. The Bulldogs connected on 45.8 percent from the floor in the opening period, while allowing only eight field goals from the Panthers.

The Bulldogs hit an identical 45.8 percent from the floor in the second half, while sinking 16-of-24 at the free-throw line to coast to victory.
