Recap: Montana State vs. Cal State Fullerton

Bozeman, MT (SportsNetwork.com) - Paced by Alex Harris' 20 points, the Cal State Fullerton Titans made easy work of the Montana State Bobcats in each team's season opener at Worthington Arena, 84-55.

Harris shot 8-of-13 from the field for Fullerton (1-0) and added a pair of steals. Michael Williams poured in 14 points, Marquis Horne made all three of his 3-point attempts en route to 13 points and Jared Brandon rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points.

For Montana State (0-1), which shot just 34.0 percent from the field, Paul Egwuonwu and Flavien Davis scored 10 points apiece.

Fullerton came out firing in the first half, making greater than 62 percent of its field goal attempts, as it went into intermission with a commanding 49-25 lead.

The Titans' field goal percentage cooled to .444 after halftime, but their advantage never dipped below 19 points.

Fullerton won the rebounding battle, 35-26, and committed just eight turnovers.
