Recap: Cal State Fullerton vs. Sacramento St

Fullerton, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Alex Harris led his team in points (12), rebounds (7), and assists (4) as he directed the Titans of Cal State Fullerton to a 59-51 victory over the Sacramento State Hornets at the Titan Gym in a non-conference matchup.

Harris only hit 2-of-8 from the field, but made 7-of-11 free throw tries and only committed one turnover for the Titans (5-7). Michael Williams added 10 points.

Mikh McKinney led the Hornets (3-5) with 16 points and Dylan Garrity scored 12.

In the opening half the Hornets got off to a strong start and maintained a slight edge throughout to go into the second frame up 29-21. The Eagles outshot the Titans 44.4 percent to 40.9 percent in the period.

Harris scored ten of his 12 points in the second half, as the Titans raised their shooting percentage to 43.5 percent, while limiting the Hornets to just 25 percent shooting and seven field goals.

The Titan's bench scored 26 points. Sacramento State had 23 3-point attempts but only four foul shots.
