Recap: UC Davis vs. Cal State Fullerton

Davis, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Corey Hawkins scored a game-high 22 points as the UC Davis Aggies defeated the Cal State Fullerton Titans 69-61 in a Big West conference collision at the Pavilion.

Ryan Sypkens tacked on 15 points off the bench for UC Davis (6-13, 1-3 Big West), which ended a three-game losing streak. Iggy Nujic added 10 points before fouling out.

Alex Harris led Cal State Fullerton (6-11, 1-2) with 19 points, while Michael Williams contributed 13. The Titans have lost four of their last five.

The Titans shot 50 percent from the field in the first and held the Aggies to just 36 percent en route to a 29-23 halftime lead.

UC Davis rallied in the second half when it shot 60.9 percent from the floor and limited Cal State Fullerton to just 29.4 percent shooting, including an 0- of-12 effort from 3-point range.

The Aggies had a 29-10 scoring advantage off of turnovers. The Titans had a 41-28 edge on the glass.
