Recap: Hawaii vs. Montana

Honolulu, HI (SportsNetwork.com) - Christian Standhardinger scored 26 points to lead the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors to a 72-61 victory over the Montana Grizzlies in non-conference action at the Stan Sheriff Center.

Isaac Fotu and Brandon Spearman each added 13 points for Hawaii (5-2).

Kareem Jamar tallied 16 points and Keron DeShields tacked on 11 for Montana (1-4).

Hawaii edged its way to a 31-25 lead at halftime by shooting 52 percent from the floor over the first 20 minutes.

The Rainbow Warriors expanded their lead by shooting 62.5 percent from the floor, while holding Montana to just 34.4 percent, during the course of the second half.

Hawaii outscored Montana, 38-26, in the paint and also had a 35-29 edge on the boards.
