Recap: UC Davis vs. UC Santa Barbara

Davis, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Michael Bryson scored 19 points as the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos routed the UC Davis Aggies, 67-54, in a Big West Conference showdown at The Pavilion.

Zalmico Harmon added 11 points and six assists while Alan Williams tallied eight points and cleared 10 boards before fouling out for the Gauchos (19-8, 10-4 BWC), who have won three of their last four contests.

Corey Hawkins had 16 points for the Aggies (9-20, 4-10), who have lost five of their last six games.

UCSB made 37.5 percent of its field goal attempts in the first half as it led 32-23 at the intermission. UC Davis shot 35 percent from the field and attempted 12 fewer shots.

The Gauchos connected on 55 percent of their shots from the floor in the second stanza. UCSB started the period on an 11-2 run and extended its lead to 18 points. The Gauchos never looked back and coasted to victory.

UCSB dominated on the glass as it outrebounded UC Davis 43-20. The starting five for the hosts combined to shoot only 10-of-29 from the floor on the night.
