Riverside, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Luke Nelson poured in 14 points to lead the UC Irvine Anteaters past the UC Riverside Highlanders, 72-52, in a Big West Conference clash at SRC Arena.

Chris McNealy added 13 points for UCI (11-7, 2-0 Big West), which has won four in a row.

For UCR (5-11, 0-2), losers of three straight, Chris Patton put up 14 points off the bench, Sam Finley scored 13 and Taylor Johns logged a double-double 10 points and 11 rebounds.
