Recap: Ark-Little Rock vs. Louisiana

Little Rock, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Will Neighbour scored 24 points and collected 12 rebounds as the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans earned an 80-69 win over the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns in Sun Belt Conference play at the Jack Stephens Center.

Josh Hagins tallied 14 points and Ben Dillard chipped in 11 for UALR (11-10, 4-2 Sun Belt).

Elfrid Payton led Louisiana (12-9, 3-5) with 20 points. J.J. Davenport added 14 points and 11 rebounds and Xavian Rimmer tacked on 12 points.

Each team shot 38.5 percent from the floor in the first half, as they entered intermission tied at 39-39.

The Trojans heated up to 55.7 percent shooting, while the Ragin' Cajuns cooled to 37 percent during the final 20 minutes. UALR also knocked down 10-of-115 shots at the free-throw line to secure the win.

UALR outscored Louisiana in the paint by a 36-26 margin. The Trojans also had a 38-31 edge on the glass.
