Recap: Ark-Little Rock vs. Georgia State

Little Rock, AR (SportsNetwork.com) - Devonta White netted 22 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Georgia State Panthers cruised past the Arkansas- Little Rock Trojans, 68-57, in a Sun Belt Conference tilt at Jack Stephens Center.

R.J. Hunter tallied 14 points in the win for Georgia State (17-6, 10-0 Sun Belt), while Ryan Harrow added 13 points and six rebounds. The Panthers have won 14 consecutive games dating back to early December.

James White scored 14 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead UALR (12-11, 7-4). Both Josh Hagins and Leroy Isler each chipped in 11 points, and Will Neighbour pulled down 10 rebounds in the losing effort. The loss snaps a two-game win streak for the Trojans.

Georgia State shot 40.7 percent from the floor in the first half, and connected on 3-of-10 from 3-point range. The Panthers took a 29-21 lead into the break after UALR shot a dismal 25 percent from the field in the first frame, which included an 0-of-7 performance from beyond the 3-point arc.

The Panthers' shooting dipped to 39.3 percent in the second half, but Georgia State did connect on 15-of-19 from the free-throw line. The Trojans came back to shoot 52 percent in the period, but couldn't make any headway into the lead.

Georgia State had the edge in rebounding, 41-35, and from the free-throw line, 19-13. UALR held the advantage in bench points, 24-10.
