Jonesboro, AK (SportsNetwork.com) - Tevin Calhoun poured in a career-high 35 points to lift the Troy Trojans to a 98-84 win over the Arkansas State Red Wolves in a Sun Belt conference shootout at the ASU Convocation Center.

Calhoun nailed 11-of-15 shots from the floor, including a 7-of-9 showing from beyond the arc for Troy (5-10, 1-2 Sun Belt), which snapped a two-game slide. Hunter Williams added 24 points, while hitting six shots from 3-point range and Antoine Myers tallied 20 points.

Kirk Van Slyke (27 points) led the way for Arkansas State (9-5, 2-1), which had a four-game winning streak put to an end. Brandon Reed added 23 points and Melvin Johnson III tacked on 17.

Troy went into halftime leading, 54-44, after hitting 57.6 percent from the floor, including 9-of-15 from beyond the arc, in the first half. Arkansas State shot 45.2 percent, but did hit 5-of-13 from 3-point distance.
