Recap: TX-San Antonio vs. Louisiana Tech

San Antonio, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Anderson registered a double- double with 26 points and 11 rebounds as the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs dispatched the Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners, 87-72, in Conference USA action at the Convocation Center.

Kenyon McNeail added 15 points in 23 minutes off the bench for the Bulldogs (18-5, 6-2 C-USA), who also received 11 points from both Jaron Johnson and Cordarius Johnson. Alex Hamilton scored 10 points while Kenneth Smith filled up the stat sheet with eight points, nine assists and four steals.

Keon Lewis led UTSA (7-13, 3-4) with 24 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor. Devon Agusi had 14 points, but also committed five of the Roadrunners' 16 turnovers. Edrico McGregor chipped in nine points and eight boards before fouling out.

LA Tech took a 57-32 lead into the intermission after it connected on 62.5 percent of its field goal attempts including 6-of-11 from 3-point range in the opening stanza. The Roadrunners were limited to 34.4 percent efficiency from the field in the first half.

UTSA improved to make good on 50 percent of its field goal attempts and converted 15-of-18 tries at the charity stripe in the second period. The Bulldogs were outscored, 40-30, after the break.

LA Tech outscored the Roadrunners, 42-28, in the paint and also, 22-8, in points off turnovers.
