Recap: Richmond vs. Old Dominion

Richmond, VA (SportsNetwork.com) - Cedrick Lindsay scored 19 points and nabbed seven rebounds as the Richmond Spiders beat the Old Dominion Monarchs, 67-58, in non-conference action at the Robins Center.

Alonzo Nelson-Ododa recorded his first career double-double for Richmond (9-4), scoring 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Junior Kendall Anthony added 17 points for the home team.

Aaron Bacote scored a game-high 20 points for the Monarchs (5-8), shooting 11-of-12 from the free-throw line. Denzell Taylor scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Richmond trailed at halftime, 25-24, but used a 9-0 run early in the second half to grab the lead from Old Dominion. Anthony scored 10 of his 17 points in the first half on 4-of-12 shooting.

Lindsay scored all of his 19 points in the second half, and had three steals in the contest. In all, the Spiders forced 17 Monarchs turnovers which included eight team steals.
