Recap: Texas-Arlington vs. ULM

Arlington, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Lonnie McClanahan scored 25 points, dished out seven assists and grabbed six rebounds to lead Texas-Arlington over UL- Monroe, 83-79, in overtime at College Park Center.

Jamel Outler added 20 points and six boards for the Mavericks (6-9, 1-2 Sun Belt), who ended a two-game losing streak. Brandon Edwards added 17 points and 10 rebounds for UTA, which used a 9-0 run in overtime to take control.

Down 76-73, Outler began the run with a 3-pointer with 2:38 left to tie the game. Shaq White-Miller followed with another trey, McClanahan added a layup and Stuart Lagerson hit 1-of-2 free throws to end the surge for an 82-76 lead with 14 ticks left.

Taylor Ongwae ended with 25 points and Jayon James had 14 for the Warhawks (4-6, 1-1), who trailed 38-34 at halftime but rallied and led 71-70 with six second left in regulation after James hit a layup.

However, Outler hit 1-of-2 free throws with one second left in the second half to force extra time.
