Recap: Troy vs. ULM

Troy, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Tylor Ongwae registered 22 points and five rebounds as the ULM Warhawks defeated the Troy Trojans, 75-64, in a Sun Belt Conference contest at Trojan Arena.

Jayon James had 13 points on 6-of-8 shooting and five assists for the Warhawks (5-7, 2-2 Sun Belt). Amos Olatayo and Nick Coppola each had 10 points apiece.

Jeff Mullahey and Hunter Williams had 16 points apiece for the Trojans (7-10, 2-3). Antoine Myers chipped in 13 points while Kevin Thomas brought down 11 boards.

ULM connected on 51.9 percent of its shots from the floor in the first half including 5-of-6 from 3-point range. Troy made 55.6 percent of its field goal attempts as the two teams were all tied at 34 at halftime.

The Warhawks shot 52.2 percent from the field in the second half and made 13- of-15 in from the free-throw line as to pull away. The Trojans made just 41.4 percent of their field goal tries in the second period.

ULM's bench outscored Troy's reserves, 21-5.
