Recap: SE Missouri St vs. Belmont

Cape Girardeau, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - J.J. Mann scored 25 points and Craig Bradshaw poured in 24, as the Belmont Bruins outlasted the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks, 107-94, in an Ohio Valley Conference clash at the Show Me Center.

Mann shot 10-of-11 from the free-throw line and Bradshaw added seven rebounds and five assists for Belmont (11-6, 3-0 OVC), which has won three straight. Blake Jenkins netted 19 points on 8-of-9 from the field, Drew Windler chipped in 12 points and six assists and Evan Bradds had 10 points off the bench.

For SEMO (8-8, 0-3), which has lost four in a row, Jarekious Bradley paced all scorers with 27 points, while Josh Langford wasn't far behind with 22 points. Tyler Stone and Darrian Gray finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

In the high-scoring first half, SEMO shot a blistering 63.3 percent from the floor, but Belmont was even better at 64.7 percent. The Bruins carried a 55-50 lead at intermission.

The Bruins' hot shooting from the floor continued in the second half (.615), and their lead swelled to as many as 18 points down the stretch.

Belmont performed especially well from 3-point range, draining 17-of-26 from long distance.
