Recap: Saint Josephs vs. Duquesne

Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Langston Galloway scored a game-high 26 points as the Saint Joseph's Hawks collected an 84-75 victory over the Duquesne Dukes in an Atlantic 10 clash at Hagan Arena.

Chris Wilson tallied 16 points and eight assists for Saint Joseph's (11-5, 2-1 A-10), which has won seven of its last eight.

Derrick Colter and Jerry Jones each netted 14 points for Duquesne (8-7, 1-2), which also got 10 points apiece form Ovie Soko and Dominique McKoy. The Dukes have lost three straight.

The Hawks shot an incredible 71.4 percent from the floor in the first half, including a 12-of-18 showing from beyond the arc. They also limited the Dukes to six field goals in the period, to enter the intermission leading 52-20.

In the second half the Hawks shot at a 55 percent clip, which was enough to hold off the Dukes, who did manage to net 10 more field goals than their hosts over the final 20 minutes.

Duquesne owned a 28-18 scoring advantage off of turnovers. Saint Joseph's nailed 17 3-pointers in the win.
