Recap: Morehead State vs. Wright State

Morehead, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Angelo Warner scored 19 points and Chad Posthumus finished with a double-double as the Morehead State Eagles secured a 74-69 victory over the Wright State Raiders at Johnson Arena.

Posthumus had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Morehead State (7-3). Billy Reader added 14 points off the bench and Brent Arrington chipped in 10.

JT Yoho netted 18 points and Jerran Young tacked on 16 for Wright State (5-4), which had won back-to-back games entering play.

Each team hit on 44 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half but Wright State knocked down 4-of-8 from beyond the arc to earn a slim, 30-29, edge at the break.

After the intermission the Eagles improved to 48.3 percent from the field but the Raiders were a bit better, connecting on 51.6 percent of their field goal attempts, to hold on for the win.

Wright State won thanks to a 24-3 advantage in points from 3-point range. The Eagles outscored the Raiders in the paint (44-30) and off turnovers (17-12).
