Recap: Ohio vs. Ball State

Athens, OH ( - Maurice Ndour scored 16 points as the Ohio University Bobcats routed the Ball State Cardinals 71-51 in a Mid-American Conference matchup at the Convocation Center.

T.J. Hall added 13 points for the Bobcats (12-4, 2-1 MAC). Travis Wilkins registered 10 points and four assists.

Chris Bond tallied 14 points for the Cardinals (3-11, 0-3), which lost their third straight game. Zavier Turner chipped in 10 points while Majok Majok brought down 11 boards.

Ohio made 43.5 percent of its shots from the field in the first half and held a 27-21 lead at the break. Ball State shot a dismal 28.6 percent on field goal attempts, including 1-of-9 from 3-point range.

The Bobcats had an easy time in the second period as they shot 48.4 percent from the floor to coast to victory.

Ohio's bench outscored Ball State's bench 28-11.
