Recap: Ball State vs. Miami-Ohio

Muncie, IN (SportsNetwork.com) - Will Felder netted 19 points to lead the Miami-Ohio RedHawks to a 64-52 win over the Ball State Cardinals in a Mid- American Conference matchup at Worthen Arena.

Reserves Jaryd Eustace and Willie Moore chipped in with 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the RedHawks (6-9, 2-2 MAC).

Zavier Turner led Ball State (3-12, 0-4) with a game-high 24 points, although he also committed six of the team's 22 turnovers. Chris Bond added 14 points for the Cardinals, who suffered their fourth straight loss and 11th in the last 12 games.

BSU shot just 5-of-19 from the floor (.263) in the first half and committed eight straight turnovers at one point. Miami seized control with a 13-0 run midway through the opening frame and eventually took a 35-17 lead into the break.

The RedHawks kept their foot on the gas after halftime as they shot a blistering 57.1 percent from the floor and led by as many as 26 with 10:26 to play.

Miami enjoyed a huge 28-9 advantage in points off turnovers and held BSU to 33.3-percent shooting for the game.
