Morehead, KY (SportsNetwork.com) - Angelo Warner tallied 25 points to help lift the Morehead State Eagles to an 82-75 win over the Tennessee-Martin Skyhawks in an Ohio Valley Conference tussle at Ellis Johnson Arena.

Brent Arrington had 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals for the Eagles (13-7, 4-1 OVC), who have won four of their last five outings. Reserves Jordan Percell (13 points), Greg Dotson (11 pts) Chad Posthumus (10 pts) all scored in double figures.

The Skyhawks (6-15, 1-5) were led by Mike Liabo, who came off the bench to register a game-high 32 points behind a 6-of-12 effort from 3-point range. Marshun Newell and Myles Taylor scored 13 apiece, while Terence Smith added 10 points in the loss.

Morehead State held a 20-6 scoring edge inside the paint in the first half and also limited the Skyhawks to 27.6-percent shooting from the floor to claim a 34-28 halftime lead.

The Eagles put together a 9-0 spurt early in the second half to expand their lead to 15 with just under 15 minutes remaining in regulation. But UTM hung around thanks to a 52-percent shooting effort from the floor and 16-of-17 accuracy at the foul line after halftime, eventually narrowing the deficit to two with 3:26 to play. However, Drew Kelly answered with a 3-pointer on MSU's next possession, and the Eagles put the game away with free throws down the stretch.

Morehead State has now nine straight meetings in the head-to-head series with UTM.
