Recap: SE Missouri St vs. Murray State

Cape Girardeau, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarekious Bradley registered a double-double with 24 points and 10 boards as the Southeast Missouri State Redhawks won in a close double overtime game against the Murray State Racers, 118-115, in an Ohio Valley Conference clash at the Show Me Center.

Antonius Cleveland scored 21 points, while Tyler Stone logged a double-double with 17 points and 14 rebounds for the Redhawks (17-13, 8-8 OVC), who extended their winning streak to four straight. Josh Langford and Jamaal Calvin each had 17 points while Nino Johnson added 12 and Lucas Nutt chipped in 10 and eight assists.

Jarvis Williams netted a double-double with 25 points and 15 rebounds for the Racers (18-10, 13-3), who had a five-game winning streak snapped. Cameron Payne tallied 25 points and six assists, while T.J. Sapp finished with 24 points and eight boards. Jeffery Moss scored 22, with Dexter Fields adding 15.

SEMO drained 62.5 percent of its shots from the field in the first half, including 6-of-11 from 3-point range, as it led 52-46 at the break. Murray State made 53.6 percent of its field goal attempts, including 8-of-15 from beyond the arc.

The Redhawks and Racers shot nearly equal on field goal tries in the second half, connecting on 46.9 percent and 46.7 percent, respectively. With 20 seconds left Sapp connected on a 3-pointer to tie the game up at 92-92. After both teams failed to score again the game went to a first overtime.

The Racers trailed by three points with 46 second remaining in the first extra period but Payne knocked down a 3-point shot to tie the game at 105-105. Payne missed two free throws with four seconds remaining, followed by a failed Cleveland jumper to send the game to double overtime.

Cleveland tied up the second overtime with 2:59 on the clock. From that point SEMO went on a 7-4 run to close out the game and seal the win.

The Redhawks dominated play inside as they outscored the Racers 60-32 in the paint.
