Recap: Saint Louis vs. Bowling Green

Saint Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Dwayne Evans scored 14 points as the Saint Louis Billikens routed the Bowling Green Falcons, 74-47, as part of the Cancun Challenge at Chaifetz Arena.

Tanner Lancona added 12 points off the bench and Mike McCall Jr. tallied 11 points and was one of three players with five assists for Saint Louis (5-0).

Bowling Green (1-3) got 13 points from Spencer Parker, who was the only player in double figures for the Falcons.

Neither team had much success offensively in the first half. The Billikens connected on 35.3 percent of their field goal attempts, including 4-of-9 from beyond the arc. The Falcons were even worse, with just a single 3-pointer while shooting 31.8 percent from the field overall. Saint Louis led, 29-19, at the break.

After halftime the Billikens found their stroke, netting 60 percent from the field to coast to victory.

The Billikens assisted on 25 of their 30 field goals while the Falcons had only five assists.
