Recap: Wright State vs. Bowling Green

Dayton, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - AJ Pacher tallied 14 points and nine rebounds, helping the Wright State Raiders edge out the Bowling Green Falcons, 46-43, at the Nutter Center.

Pacher shot 5-of-9 from the field for the Raiders (8-7). Miles Dixon contributed 13 points on 5-of-9 from the floor.

Richaun Holmes logged a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons (6-6). Spencer Parker scored 11 points on 5-of-11 from the floor.

Both teams struggled to find an offensive rhythm in the first half, with Wright State shooting 37.9 percent from the field to Bowling Green's 36.4 percent. The Raiders claimed a 26-19 lead at halftime.

The Falcons improved in the second half to shoot 52.9 percent from the field with the Raiders still struggling at 35 percent. A late surge by the Falcons got them within two, with 1:46 left to play, but the Raiders were able to hold them off and never surrendered the lead in the second half.

The Raiders missed all 13 attempts from 3-point range, but were able to rely on getting points in the paint, where they outscored the Falcons 30-18. Bowling Green committed 21 turnovers and got just one point from its bench in the low-scoring affair.
