Recap: Tennessee St vs. Miami-Ohio

Nashville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Will Sullivan scored 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting, as the Miami-Ohio Redhawks handily beat the Tennessee State Tigers, 79-64, in a non-conference tilt at the Gentry Center.

Will Felder scored 19 for the Redhawks (3-6). Jaryd Eustace added 13 points while Joshua Oswald recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards.

Patrick Miller scored a game-high 26 points to go with six assists for the Tigers (1-12). Jamonte Graham put up 12 points, and Kennedy Eubanks chipped in 11 with nine rebounds.

The Redhawks were hot in the first half, draining 57.1 percent of their field goal attempts as they took a 37-32 lead into intermission. The Tigers lagged slightly behind by making 48 percent of their shots from the floor.

Miami-Ohio kept shooting well in the second half, making 56 percent of its shots from the field. TSU struggled, only making 31.4 percent of its field goal tries, including 2-of-10 from 3-point range, as the Redhawks were able to coast to an easy win.

The RedHawks shot 22-of-28 from the free-throw line, while the Tigers were just 13-of-20.
