Recap: St Marys-CA vs. Eastern Wash

Moraga, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Brad Waldow scored 24 points as the Saint Mary's Gaels blew past the Eastern Washington Eagles, 93-65, in a non- conference joust at McKeon Pavilion.

Kerry Carter added 18 points off the bench for Saint Mary's (7-0). Also in double figures for the Gaels were Beau Levesque (14 points), James Walker III (12) and Stephen Holt (11). Garrett Jackson tallied 12 rebounds.

Eastern Washington (5-3) was paced by 20 points from Tyler Harvey and 14 more from Drew Brandon.

The Gaels went into halftime leading 41-25. Saint Mary's hit 42.9 percent of their field goal attempts, including 5-of-12 from beyond the arc, during the period. The Eagles had only a single 3-pointer and nine field goals total.

Waldow scored 13 points in the second half during which the Gaels sank 53.3 percent of their field goal attempts to coast to victory.

Saint Mary's had twice as many assists as Eastern Washington (18-9) and a 49-36 advantage on the boards.
