Also posting a double-double for the hosts was Ronald Roberts with 16 points and 10 boards, while Langston Galloway produced a team-high 20 points and also pulled down eight rebounds.

The Red Foxes (0-3) were paced by Chavaughn Lewis who tallied a game-high 26 points on 9-of-20 shooting, followed by Jay Bowie with 11 points as the team remained winless after three outings.

The Hawks scored the first points of the night and never looked back, posting a 40-25 advantage at the break after Marist missed all 11 chances behind the 3-point line in the opening frame.

In the second half the Red Foxes were able to find the range from beyond the arc (6-of-14), but still Saint Joseph's carried a comfortable lead until the end.

The Hawks shot close to 50 percent from the field in the meeting and dominated the glass, 47-26, limiting the visitors to just five offensive rebounds.
