Recap: Northern Colorado vs. Idaho State

Greeley, CO (SportsNetwork.com) - Tim Huskisson had 22 points for the Northern Colorado Bears, as they defeated the Idaho State Bengals, 82-75, in a Big Sky Conference matchup at Butler-Hancock Sports Pavilion.

Tate Unruh finished with 21 points and four assists for the Bears (10-3, 4-0 Big Sky). Dominique Lee added 12 points, while Derrick Barden chipped in 11 points and nine boards for the team's fourth straight win.

Andre Hatchett led the Bengals (5-8, 2-2) with 25 points on 8-of-13 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line. Tomas Sanchez scored 21 points with five assists, while Jeffrey Solarin and Chris Hansen netted 14 and 10 points, respectively.

The Bears made 44.8 percent of their shots from the floor including 6-of-13 from beyond the arc in the first period. They held a 44-37 lead at the half. Idaho State converted on 52.2 percent of its field goal tries but attempted six fewer shots.

UNC made 57.1 percent of its shots from the field in the second half. The Bengals drained 60 percent of their field goal tries including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc. The Bears led for the majority of the half and after the 5:08 mark they wouldn't trail again for the rest of the game.

The bench for UNC outscored the Bengals' reserves, 21-5.
