Recap: Weber State vs. Idaho State

Ogden, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Davion Berry scored 23 points as the Weber State Wildcats slipped by the Idaho State Bengals, 65-59, in Big Sky Conference action at the Dee Events Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the Wildcats (8-6, 5-1 Big Sky) was Jordan Richardson with 18 points as he and Berry combined to knock down 8-of-17 shots from 3-point range in the team's third straight win and the sixth in the last seven outings. Joel Bolomboy ripped down a game-high 16 rebounds, eight at the offensive end alone, followed by Kyle Tresnak with 11 rebounds for the hosts.

The Bengals (6-9, 3-3) were paced by Chris Hansen who dropped in a game-high 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the floor. Tomas Sanchez pitched in with 12 points, but he shot only 3-of-11 from the field as the visitors lost for the third time in four games.

Idaho State led by as many as five points early in the first half but the visitors ended up shooting just 8-of-26 from the floor in the period, en route to a 26-22 deficit at the break.

In the second half the Bengals turned it around with 50.0 percent accuracy from the field, but down the stretch Berry and the Wildcats were simply too much to handle.

Weber State turned the ball over 15 times on the night, but countered those miscues by posting a 38-27 advantage on the glass.
