Recap: Montana State vs. Montana

Bozeman, MT (SportsNetwork.com) - Kareem Jamar scored 20 points and collected 10 rebounds as the Montana Grizzlies captured a 70-66 win over the rival Montana State Bobcats in a Big Sky Conference clash at Worthington Arena.

Mario Dunn added 13 points and Jordan Gregory finished with 11 for Montana (10-9, 5-5 Big Sky). Mike Weisner chipped in 10 points off the bench.

Flavien Davis led all scorers with 22 points for Montana State (10-11, 5-5).

The Grizzlies took a 44-32 lead into the break after shooting 53.8 percent from the floor in the first half, while holding the Bobcats to 40.7 percent.

Montana State was ruthless on defense in the second half, limiting Montana to only six field goals. However, the Bobcats only connected on 39.3 percent from the floor themselves to let the game slip away.

The Bobcats lost despite outscoring the Grizzlies in the paint (30-20) and off of turnovers (16-6).
