The Thunderbirds missed a pair of 3-point field goal attempts in the final minute of regulation after Terrell Brown evened the score at 62 with a make at the charity stripe with 55 seconds showing on the game clock.

Montana State made 10 more free-throw attempts in the extra session and held SUU to just three makes from the floor to clinch the decision.
