Recap: North Dakota vs. South Dakota St

Grand Forks, ND (SportsNetwork.com) - Brayden Carlson scored a team-high 22 points to lead the South Dakota State Jackrabbits to a 77-70 win over North Dakota in a non-conference bout at the Sioux Center.

Cody Larson scored 21 points and had a team-high seven rebounds and two blocks to help the Jackrabbits (7-7) win their third straight and bring their record to .500 for the first time all season.

Troy Huff had an admirable game for North Dakota (3-7), scoring 30 points on an efficient 10-of-14 shooting effort from the field. Jaron Nash and Jamal Webb both scored 12 points.

The Jackrabbits jumped out to a 29-17 lead with six minutes to play in the first half. However, UND used a 15-3 run over the period's final minutes to tie the score at 32-32 entering the break.

Early in the second half the Jackrabbits went on a 9-0 run to break a 40-40 tie. UND would reduce their deficit to a single point minutes later, but the Jackrabbits soon had another run, this time of 11-0. to pull away for good.

This was the first time either team has won a game this season away from their home court. The teams combined for 41 points off of turnovers.
