Ashton Moore shot 11-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-7 from 3-point range and drained all nine of his free-throw attempts for a career-high 35 points as The Citadel (4-24, 0-13) remained winless in conference play.

The Bulldogs got within two points of the lead at the 12:33 mark following a pair of Moore free throws, but the Wildcats responded with a 24-9 run to separate themselves.

Davidson, which never trailed in the game, finished 11-of-21 from beyond the arc and 26-of-36 at the free-throw line.
