Recap: Davidson vs. Chattanooga

Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - De'Mon Brooks scored 27 points and ripped down 12 rebounds as the Davidson Wildcats rolled to a 94-51 victory over the Chattanooga Mocs in Southern Conference play at Belk Arena.

Jordan Barham tallied 16 points for Davidson (11-11, 7-1 SoCon), which has won four straight. Tyler Kalinoski and Tom Droney chipped in 11 points apiece, with Droney tallying eight assists as well.

Casey Jones netted 20 points to go with eight rebounds for Chattanooga (14-9, 8-1), which had a 10-game winning streak snapped.

Davidson led 43-25 at the break. The Wildcats sank 52.6 percent from the floor in the opening period, while limiting the Mocs to eight field goals.

Chattanooga only had eight field goals in the second frame, when Davidson continued to pull away, shooting 66.7 percent from the floor.

Davidson scored an astounding 70 points in the paint and outscored the Mocs 21-4 off of turnovers.
