Hewitt scored 21 of his 32 points after halftime, but the Wildcats ultimately put the game away with an 11-0 spurt late in the contest. The visitors finished with 11 3-pointers (.440) on the day.

Davidson has dominated the head-to-head series with GSU as it won for the 15th time in the last 16 meetings. In addition, the Wildcats not only extended their SoCon road winning streak to 12, but they also clinched a first-round bye for the conference tournament.
