Recap: Davidson vs. UNC Greensboro

Davidson, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Brian Sullivan scored 19 points as the Davidson Wildcats clinched the Southern Conference regular season title with a 79-46 rout of the UNC Greensboro Spartans at Belk Arena.

De'Mon Brooks added 16 points and nine rebounds for the Wildcats (18-11, 14-1 SoCon) as they collected their 11th win in a row. Tyler Kalinoski added 14 points and six boards.

For UNCG (13-17, 6-9), R.J. White registered a double-double with 16 points and 10 boards.

Davidson connected on 50 percent of its field goal attempts, including 9-of-16 from behind the 3-point line in the opening period. The Spartans went into the intermission trailing, 44-25, after they were limited to 35.3 percent efficiency from the floor in the first half.

UNCG continued to struggle as it managed to hit on only 31 percent of its shots from the floor after the break. The Wildcats extended their lead by 14 points over the final 20 minutes of the contest with the help of a 4-of-11 clip from beyond the arc.

Davidson outscored UNCG, 39-3, from 3-point range and also, 14-3, at the charity stripe.
