Elon, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Brian Sullivan scored 26 points, leading four players in double figures, as the Davidson Wildcats topped the Elon Phoenix, 86-69, in Southern Conference action at Alumni Gym.

De'Mon Brooks added 24 points and eight rebounds for the Wildcats (19-11, 15-1 SoCon) as they cruised to their 12th straight win and easily captured the regular-season conference title. Chris Czerapowicz and Jordan Barham both added 11 points, the former clearing nine rebounds before fouling out.

Davidson not only connected on an impressive 60.0 percent from the field in the first half, the squad also made good on 13-of-15 at the free-throw line in order to put up a 38-28 advantage at the break. Elon, which knocked down a total of only nine field goals through the first 20 minutes, was 1-of-7 on the perimeter.

The Wildcats continued to have the hot hand in the second half, converting 63.3 percent from the floor, including 7-of-13 on the perimeter, making it that much easier to capture the 17-point road win.

Elon, which was beaten on the glass by a 31-21 margin, didn't do itself any favors with just 18-of-28 shooting at the charity stripe on the night.
