Recap: San Francisco vs. Loyola Marymount

San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Cole Dickerson finished with 20 points and eight rebounds as the San Francisco Dons coasted to a 75-61 victory over the Loyola Marymount Lions in a West Coast Conference bout at Memorial Gymnasium.

Matt Glover registered a double-double for the Dons (9-6, 2-1 WCC) with 12 points and 11 boards. Avry Holmes had 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the floor in the contest.

Anthony Ireland led LMU (10-5, 2-1) with 18 points. Nick Stover added 15 points off the bench while Evan Payne netted 11 points.

San Francisco jumped out to an early lead and entered the intermission with a 40-23 advantage on the scoreboard. The Dons hit on 51.5 percent of their field goal attempts and limited LMU to 28.6 percent efficiency from the floor in the opening 20 minutes of action.

The Lions sent the hosts to the free-throw line for 26 attempts in the second period, but the Dons were able to sink only 16. LMU still barely cut into the deficit as it was held to 44.4 percent shooting from the field after the break.

San Francisco dominated the glass to earn a 38-27 victory in the rebounding battle.
