Recap: Wofford vs. Samford

Spartanburg, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Spencer Collins poured in 16 points on 6-of-10 from the field, as the Wofford Terriers made easy work of the Samford Bulldogs, 77-58, in Southern Conference action at Benjamin Johnson Arena.

Karl Cochran netted 14 points for Wofford (11-10, 6-3 SoCon), winners of four in a row. Jaylen Allen had 12 points for the hosts, while Lee Skinner posted nine points and 10 rebounds.

For Samford (9-14, 3-5), Raijon Kelly and Chris Longoria scored 16 and 13 points, respectively.

Wofford dominated the first half of action, outshooting Samford from the field, 54.5 percent to 37.5 percent, en route to a 43-22 lead at intermission.

The Terriers put the game on cruise control after halftime, as their lead never dipped below 19 points.

Wofford held a 42-30 advantage in the rebounding battle and outscored Samford in the paint, 40-30.
