Wilmington, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Zeke Upshaw poured in a game-high 27 points to carry the Hofstra Pride to a 69-64 victory over the UNC-Wilmington Seahawks in a Colonial Athletic Association battle at Trask Coliseum.

Jordan Allen and Moussa Kone each tallied 10 points for Hofstra (6-11, 2-1 CAA), which has won back-to-back games for the first time this season. Stephen Nwaukoni collected 10 rebounds as well for the Pride.

Chris Dixon posted 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting for UNCW (6-13, 0-4), which has lost seven straight. Cedrick Williams netted 14 points and Addison Spruill chipped in 12.

Hofstra entered halftime, leading 35-31, after shooting 48.1 percent from the floor in the first 20 minutes, including a 6-of-12 effort from beyond the arc. UNCW hit 46.4 percent from the floor, but only 3-of-7 from 3-point range.

The Pride cooled to 43.5 percent shooting in the second period, but an 11-6 scoring edge from the free-throw line allowed them to hold off the Seahawks.

Hofstra had as many points from the charity stripe (14) as the Seahawks had attempts.
