Recap: South Dakota St vs. IUPU-Ft Wayne

Brookings, SD (SportsNetwork.com) - Jordan Dykstra scored 18 points to lead the South Dakota State Jackrabbits to a 79-51 rout of the IUPU-Fort Wayne Mastodons in a Summit League matchup at Frost Arena.

Cody Larson chipped in 17 points and Chad White finished with 15 for South Dakota State (13-10, 5-3 Summit), which has won three straight.

Steve Forbes was the only player in double figures for IPFW (18-7, 6-2), netting 10 points. The Mastodons have lost back-to-back games.

South Dakota State led 43-30 at halftime after shooting 56.3 percent from the floor in the first half while limiting IPFW to 40.7 percent.

The Jackrabbits may have cooled to 43.3 percent shooting in the second frame, but the Mastodons could not take advantage, hitting on just 29.6 percent themselves.

South Dakota State went 10-of-19 from 3-point range and outscored IPFW 34-24 in the paint.
