Recap: UAB vs. Nebraska

Charleston, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Chad Frazier poured in a game-high 32 points and added seven assists to lead the UAB Blazers past Nebraska 87-74 in a second-round consolation game in the Charleston Classic.

UAB (4-1) was also led by Rod Rucker who recorded a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. The Blazers' Fahro Alihodzic chipped in with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting from the field. Robert Williams and Jordan Swing both contributed 11 points to help UAB in the victory.

Nebraska (3-2) did go into halftime with a 34-31 lead after a tightly contested first half. The second-half remained close until a Williams made layup with 7:30 which gave UAB a 68-64 lead.

The Blazers went on to outscore the Cornhuskers 19-10 over the final seven and a half minutes of play to notch the victory

Terran Petteway led the way for Nebraska, scoring 21 points, on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor. Guards Shavon Shields and Deverell Biggs each added 11 points apiece and Walter Pitchford scored 10 points and grabbed a team-high six rebounds.
