Recap: Belmont vs. Hofstra

Uncasville, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Craig Bradshaw scored 24 points and JJ Mann added 22 as the Belmont Bruins topped the Hofstra Pride, 85-75, in the final round of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun Arena.

Bradshaw hit 9-of-17 shots from the field, including 4-of-8 from beyond the arc for Belmont (6-1), which also got 12 points from Drew Windler.

Zeke Upshaw scored a game-high 25 points for Hofstra (2-4). Stephen Nwaukoni tacked on a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench. Jordan Allen added 11 points and Jamall Robinson pitched in 10.

In the first half the Pride connected on 58.1 percent of their shots from the field, including 6-of-11 from beyond the arc. Belmont kept pace with a 7-of-15 showing from 3-point range but trailed, 46-43, at intermission.

Belmont hit 5-of-12 shots from beyond the arc, while the Pride cooled to 36.4 percent shooting from the field, as the Bruins pulled away for the win in the second half.

The Bruins scored 21 points off of 16 Hofstra turnovers while having only seven giveaways.
