Recap: Minnesota vs. Arkansas

Maui, HI (SportsNetwork.com) - Alandise Harris scored 15 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead Arkansas over Minnesota, 87-73, at the Maui Invitational.

Bobby Portis added 12 points and seven boards for the Razorbacks (4-1), who scored 30 of the first 40 points of the second half to take control. Fred Gulley and Michael Qualls scored 10 points apiece for Arkansas, which will face the winner of the Chaminade/Gonzaga contest on Wednesday for fifth place.

Austin Hollins scored 17 points and Malik Smith tallied 15 points for the Golden Gophers (5-2), who played a strong first half but faltered over the final 20 minutes.

Trailing 40-35 at halftime, Arkansas opened the second half by scoring 10 straight points to take the lead for good. Gulley's three-pointer 3:05 into the frame gave the Razorbacks a 45-40 lead. Then, after the Gophers trimmed the deficit to one point, 45-44, a 20-6 run by Arkansas put the game out of reach. Moses Kingsley's layup with 9:31 left capped the surge, giving the Razorbacks a 65-50 cushion.

Minnesota will face the loser of the Chaminade/Gonzaga contest on Wednesday in the seventh place game.
