Recap: Saint Josephs vs. Washington St

Orlando, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Ronald Roberts registered a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds as the Saint Joseph's Hawks captured a 72-67 win over the Washington State Cougars in the fifth-place game of the Old Spice Classic at HP Field House.

Also scoring in double figures for the Hawks (4-2) were DeAndre Bembry and Langston Galloway with 13 points apiece in the team's second straight victory.

The Cougars (3-4) were led by DeVonte Lacy who posted a game-high 25 points as he shot 5-of-9 behind the 3-point line. The only other double-digit scorer for the squad was Que Johnson who tacked on 10 points off the bench.

The Hawks led by as many as eight points late in the first half, shooting a solid 48.3 percent from the floor as they settled on a 34-28 advantage at the break.

In the second half both programs shot just over 48 percent from the field, with WSU moving out to a 61-55 edge with just under six minutes remaining in regulation. But Saint Joseph's put together a 15-4 run to overtake the Cougars and secure the win.

The Hawks won the rebounding battle, 37-27, and turned the ball over just seven times on the afternoon.
