Recap: Alaska-Anchorage vs. Indiana State

Anchorage, AK (SportsNetwork.com) - Justin Gant scored 19 and Manny Arop scored 17 points to lead the Indiana State Sycamores to a 97-87 victory over the Alaska-Anchorage Seawolves in the Great Alaska Shootout.

Dawon Cummings scored 15 points and had nine assists, while Jake Odum added 13 points and 10 assists for Indiana State (4-2), which plays Pepperdine Saturday.

Kyle Fossman scored a game-high 28, Brian McGill added 19 and Teancum Stafford had 15 points for the Seawolves (5-3), who will face Denver on Saturday.

Indiana State started the second half with an 10-0 run to push its 3-point halftime lead to 56-43 with 17:11 to play.

With under five minutes to play, the Seawolves came within seven points three times, but got no closer and Indiana State would trade baskets on its way to the win.

The Sycamores led 46-43 at the half.
